Saving Owned Equipment to Project Assets

CostTrax leverages the EquipmentWatch database to enforce standard equipment data across all requests. There are two ways to save a new model to Project Assets:

  • Add Model: Use this to find named equipment, e.g. “Deere 410J”

  • Add Miscellaneous Model: Use this to find miscellaneous equipment, e.g. generator sets

Users can utilize the ID, Serial Number, and Description fields to input relevant information about specific machines.

Detailed configuration and ownership & operating cost information is available for any saved asset by clicking on the > symbol.
